GOT GAS   Captured  by NASA’s Hubble telescope, this image shows a pillar of star birth,  three light-years high, depicting how scorching radiation and fast winds  from from super-hot newborn stars in the nebula are shaping and  compressing the pillar, causing new stars to form within it.  The colors correspond to the  glow of oxygen (blue), hydrogen and nitrogen (green), and sulfur (red).  (Photo: NASA / ESA via the New York Daily News)
