mount snow = officially open! (we’re heading up this wkd!): Like six weeks ago I was talking to Will McD about how this part of the year kind of sucks since summers over and all you can do is just wait for snowboard season to start. Our home mountain (Mount Snow in VT) is usually open in December but the skiing isn’t any good till after New Year. Buuuttttt, this year the mountain is being really aggressive (new owners!), blew a ton of snow and opened last weekend (!!) with what looks like pretty good coverage. Me + J + K (anyone else?) are heading up this weekend to check it out (er, and as part of Vermont Family Cleanup Weekend). ps: www.mountsnow.com
