Holy shit - Whistler installed a peak-to-peak gondola (connecting Whistler and Blackcomb).  Pretty sick - last season you had to ski all the way to the base to switch peaks (which forces you to ski Whistler in the morning and Blackcomb in the afternoon, etc).  

Actually, one of the coolest things about Whistler is that there’s different weather conditions on different parts of the mountain.  It’s not uncommon to hear from the people you ride lifts with that one part of the mountain is snowing, while another is icing over.  I wonder how this will change the mad dash to get where the snow is when conditons are better on one mountain than they are on another.   (you can thank Will McD for the link.  ps:  more)
