I hit up the Sox / Yanks game with Alex + Karen + Matt.S last night (thx for the tix Mo!) = first game I’ve been to all season (and Sox win it 7-5). Same old Yankee Stadium with the exception of the new stadium’s shell in the background and the fact that *beers are now $9.50*!!!   (here’s us, just befoer the first pitch, rolling with $80 worth of Bud Light) Hold on, lemme do this math real quick: Yankee beers: prob 20oz cups x 8 beers= 160oz of beers / $76 = $0.47/oz Standard 30 pack = 30 * 8oz cans = 240 oz / say, $18 =  $0.075/oz Which gives us a 600% markup (from 30 pack retail prices??)   Can that be right?   Anyway, they also ran out of cups + pretzels + hot dogs around the 6th inning (at least in the section we were in) - WTF!
